Home School Advanced Program

At this level, swimmers learn advanced skills & experience additional training challenges to provide a continuation of building skills & fitness for log-term swimming success and eventual advancement to the Senior Development, Age Group Champs or Pre-National Programs. The home school program is offered as a daytime alternative for competitive swimmers that have the flexibility to practice during normal school hours.

Home School Advanced Practices

Each practice is 60 minutes long with focus on:

Stroke development & refinement.
Endurance building.
Race strategy & swim meet preparation.
Flip-turns and open-turn development.
Diving from starting blocks.

Schedule

You have the flexibility to attend any practice offered throughout the week (up to 4x per week).

Contract/Tuition Information

The Home School Advanced Programs' contract length is 9 months.

9-month contracts have three payment options:

1 Pay: (payment in full)

Practices start on 9/11/2023 and will conclude 5/23/2024.

Home School Advanced Criteria

Age: Swimmers 7 to 13 years old (as of January 1, 2024).

Competence: can swim a legal 100 IM (Fly, Back, Breast, Free) & swim 100 yards of freestyle without stopping.

Expectations: Able to work in a group setting & take directions from a coach.

Competitive Aspirations

Swim meets will be offered about every 4-6 weeks. Although meet attendance is not required, it is encouraged.

Commitment Requirements:

We recommend attending at least 3 practices a week to progress within the program. However, there are no mandatory attendance requirements.

We use abbreviations for our different locations groupings. Upon registering, please be sure to sign up for your preferred practice location. Not all locations offer all programs.
